The Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – receives the month of Ramadan in a special way; Receiving him was not like receiving other months. Rather, he held a special place with the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – and with the Companions – may God be pleased with them, and he – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – was announcing his coming; It was narrated from him – peace be upon him – that he used to say:
(The month of Ramadan has come to you, a blessed month, which God has enjoined upon you to fast, in which the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained, and in it there is a night that is better than a thousand months, whoever is deprived of its good has been deprived) Some of the deeds that welcome the blessed month of Ramadan can be described as follows: * Joy and pleasure at the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan. * Receiving the month of Ramadan with praise and thanks to God - Glory be to Him . * Sincerity of intention to God - Glory be to Him . * Practice fasting. * Sincere repentance to God.
